Laughing, smiling, giggling, grinning,
Induces powerful stress-relief, there is scientific evidence that laughter helps with so many parts of your life and your health being a big part of that, so the saying that laughter is the best medicine seems to be true.
Reduces pain- laughter releases endorphins that help with pain.
Brings a sense of well being, generally the more positive a person, has been shown to beat an illness rather than a negative person
Boosts the immunes system, feeling a little under the weather, pop on that funny DVD, talk to a friend about a funny memory, get your giggle on and prevent that cold.
I know when you’re feeling down or depressed the last thing you feel like doing is laughing, but it has shown to reduce anxiety and brighten the mood, bringing positivity and reducing negative feelings, laugher helps improve your self-confidence and brings clarity and new prospects in your life.
A fun workout in more ways than one, laughter gets your heart pumping and the muscles in abs tense as you laugh, a good belly laugh and you could burning as many calories as a slow walk, and your abs will see the benefits from a laugh a day.
How about laughter therapy or laughing yoga, people meeting up to laugh together has seen an increase in the last few years.
Laughter therapy is worldwide, people meeting up, to laugh is almost laughable in its self, but as you can see as the list from above it’s no joke ha ha.
Laughter yoga (Hasyayoga) is a practice involving prolonged voluntary laughter. It is based on the belief that voluntary laughter provides the same physiological and psychological benefits as spontaneous laughter.
