Haunted House Fun
I'm lying of course it was no fun for me at least
It all started with my mother and I deciding to take my little sister and son to a haunted fun house night at Tatton old hall Knutsford. We hadn't realised what it entailed and thought it was something a little different to entertain two 8 year old children. We walked up to the old hall house, all it's window's were blacked out, thought nothing of it, walked into the house and a man dressed up in old clothes with his face white and blood dripping from his mouth, loomed over me and I freaked, he chased us all across the front room, I was terrified, and practical launch my mother out of the way to get to the stairs, it didn't matter who you were, you were getting out of my way, I hate to be chased and I hate scary things, and duh I went into a haunted house, I got to the top of the stairs and there was dummies, that you didn't know if they were people or not, and there was one in the door way and I rushed pass and moving as fast as I could with desperation to just get out of a children's haunted event, yep I'm a chicken, I don't like the dark either.
But my stupidity doesn't stop there, nope, my son thought it was ace and wanted to go back in, my sister was sat crying, so my mother didn't have to go back in, I'm thinking I've paid for this, he wants to go back in, and so I did, again I got back up to the landing area and still hadn't figured if the hooded figure at the door way was a dummies or not, my lovely son had ran off playing with some other kids, leaving his mother frozen on the landing, I didn't know what to do, I was stuck, I don't know how long I stood there, but then a lady came along with a tiny newborn baby, and I thought in my addled brain that no one is going to jump out at her, she's got a baby, so I literally stuck to her, and brave myself through the rest of the house lol, I didn't go in again, I now can look back and realise it was pretty funny. but I was genuinely frighten to death.
